April 7, 2017 is World Health Day. In honour of that day, we’d like to ask you to imagine …
Imagine yourself in the place of one of the two young women standing there, learning from Dr. Eve Nakabembe, obstetrician and director of the Save the Mothers Mother Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (above right).
Jess Huston (above left) and Beka Bushby (above centre) are Save the Mothers’ program interns for 2016-17. Ask them about their experience, and they will tell you it has been “life-changing.”
They will also tell you that if you’ve ever thought about working in the fields of international development, communications, or maternal and child health, then becoming a program intern for Save the Mothers is not only a fantastic opportunity, but it might just help further you along that career path.
We are currently seeking applications to fill their roles for the 2017-18 academic year. For details, click here.
